Requested procedure from Equifax [cmrr] [equifax]
I requested to provide me a written description of the procedure to determine the accuracy…. and they just mailed me a copy of my credit report with a form to dispute. Aren't they suppose to send me the procedure instead a copy of my report? What should I do next with Equifax, any suggestion. Applying for our mortgage tomorrow.scared after checking scores. [prime rates] [equifax]
Tomorrow we will be applying for a mortgage. Last month, when I checked my grades, they were 705, 725, 745 and his scores are in the high 700-or so we thought we would be sure to get interest rates. Well, I pulled my scores again only to ensure that they are still the same. Now they are 694, 725, and 755th Augh went from my Equifax score. Do you think we still qualify for prime rates?

Back in 2000, I moved from apt X and supposedly never paid my utilities!
Ok so, fast forward to 2005 and I checked my CR for the first time 2 months ago and had a bill for $918.00 from the utility company on exp and another bill with the same amount on transunion put in by genesis financial solutions. I researched this on my own for 2-3weeks and wrote 3 letters to exp, equifax and trans asking them to research and delete if unvalidated!

Disputed first national twice through experian came back remains [equifax] [inaccuracy]
This happened within three days of filling with the BBB and sending email requesting 1,000 for each inaccuracy or Complete Deletion.
They deleted.
It took me two months.

AFNI Deletion Victory! [afni] [equifax]
So I DV'd and denied an old collection with Afni in MY 2005 that bankruptcy was contained. Nothing happened to the DV but Equifax responded and delete it! I'm about 99% sure that Trans Union do the same! This allows me to:
EX: 737
EQ: 761
TU: 699 (but not for long)
What a rocky road to recovery, but man, it's amazing, the difference between now and 5 years ago. Continue reading

Where should it be reported on an Equifax report? [equifax credit report] [equifax]
Where exactly on an Equifax credit report is the statement “Paid Charge Off” to be annotated?
Under “Current Status” it shows “charge off”, but only mentioned “paid charge off” in the comment section.
Is that correct? I assume that it was “Paid Charge Off” in the section's current status as the present is what it is.

Equifax won't release report, say it's empty [ss card] [equifax]
I tried to get my credit report from AnnualCreditReport.com and got error message from EQ asked me to call her. Then they say they can not find me. Call back another day, my fax DL was said u0026 SS card to them. At that time she said that there is something in my report, and I could find. Fax the paperwork yesterday and was told that they find me not because I have nothing on EQ. I have more than 10 CL with 7-8 banks and they show very well on EX and TU. What's up?
