? After 10 yrs on CR [hypothetically] [bankruptcy]
I have a question. After the 10 years that the bankruptcy can legally stay on your credit report…..hypothetically, if all is well with the world, and you have gotten all IIB's removed from your report, and the bankruptcy is also gone….. If you are filling out any application, and it asks if you have ever filed bankruptcy, how would you answer? credit reporting-Macys [tradeline] [bankruptcy]
Transunion is reporting "charge off" under the account status and under the remarks " included in bankruptcy". This is a Macys tradeline and the bankruptcy was discharged in 10/03. I called Transunion after a dispute and they said call Macys so I did. Macys still had me in their records and told me this is the correct way to report. They said it went into charge off in 09/03. Are they reporting correctly? Does this hurt the credit raiting even worse? Continue reading
Deleting Equifax Bankruptcy [nine years] [bankruptcy]
Equifax has been reporting a bankruptcy on my credit for over nine years. Does anyone have any techniques I could use to get them deleted? It is reporting as dismissed.
